Blue Tepotzotlan

After years of artistic drought, I decided to return to painting just after a visit to the convent of Tepotzotlán; not found in its art garden any painting worthy of representing its baroque façade; I innocently entered into the challenge of representing each ornament, each sculpture, every saint, every virgin, every angel; how much naivete in the face of the Baroque, it’s crazy, I counted 4, 8, 12, 16 angels in just one of the 15 boxes into which I subdivided the façade, I promised not to underestimate the motley carvings of the Baroque again, it took more than a month and finally I obtained and outlined a scheme of the facade. After this endeavor, I looked at the art garden with more respect.

Blue Tepotzotlan is printed on 300gsm classic Fabriano paper, with 50% filigree cotton fiber and natural fine grain texture, and features substantial thickness and beautiful texture finish, resulting in excellent color reproduction, intricate details, and deep blacks. High-quality pigment inks are used to ensure vibrant, fade-resistant colors. With proper care, the original quality can be preserved for centuries.

Tepotzotlán azul

Después de años de sequía artística decidí regresar a la pintura  justo después de una visita al convento de Tepotzotlán, y al no encontrar en su jardín de arte ningún cuadro digno de representar su fachada barroca, inocentemente entré en el desafío de representar cada ornamento, cada escultura, cada santo, cada virgen, cada ángel; cuánta ingenuidad ante el barroco, es una locura, conté 4, 8, 12, 16 ángeles en solo uno de los 15 recuadros en que subdividí la fachada, prometí no volver a subestimar las abigarradas tallas del barroco, tardé más de un mes y finalmente obtuve un esquema delineado de la fachada. Después de eso, miré el jardín de arte con más respeto.

Tepotzotlán azul está impreso en papel Fabriano clásico de 300 gr, con 50% de fibra de algodón filigranado y de grano fino natural, cuenta con un grosor sustancial y un hermoso acabado de textura, lo que da como resultado una excelente reproducción del color, detalles intrincados y negros profundos. Se utilizan tintas pigmentadas de alta calidad para garantizar colores vibrantes y resistentes a la decoloración. Con el cuidado adecuado, la calidad original se puede conservar durante siglos.
